Whitey is having a terrible start to his 1961 season. In real life "The Chairman of the Board" logged a 25-4 mark and after five starts the little lefty is 1 and 3. Thusday he again was abushed by the Minnesota Twins and left giving up 7 runs. Yanks lost again and are struggling in the middle of the now ten team league. The Yankees are not pitching that well as a team as both pitchers that followed Ford, Jim Coates and "Rapid Ryne" Duren both were unimpressive. Duren so teed off "The Major" Ralph Houk, the Yankee skipper, that he is rumored to be headed somewhere else. Some have him going out west to join the newly formed Los Angeles Angels. Stay tuned to this story.
